An oak gazebo provides a sheltered outdoor space that can be used for relaxing, dining or entertaining in the garden. Unlike pergolas, gazebos typically feature a solid roof canopy, giving greater protection from the weather while creating a defined outdoor structure.
At Garden Room Sanctuary, we design and install oak gazebos built from structural French oak beams and traditional timber framing methods. Each gazebo is tailored to suit your garden layout, creating a practical outdoor feature that complements the surrounding landscape.
Oak gazebos are commonly used for garden seating areas, outdoor dining spaces, hot tub shelters or covered entertaining areas. Their solid structure and natural appearance make them a popular addition to both residential gardens and hospitality venues.
Oak-framed structures combine strength, durability and natural character, making them a reliable choice for outdoor buildings such as gazebos, pergolas and porches.
Gazebos include a roof canopy which provides greater protection from rain and direct sun.
Gazebos create a clear focal point within gardens or landscaped areas.
Solid oak posts and beams create a durable structure capable of lasting for decades.
A gazebo can enhance the appearance of both traditional and modern properties while remaining timeless.

The primary frame is assembled using structural oak posts, cross beams and braces. These components are joined together using traditional timber framing methods to form a strong load-bearing structure.
The oak frame is installed on site, with posts positioned and secured before beams and braces are installed. The structure is aligned, fixed and checked to ensure it is level, stable and structurally sound. The whole process usually only takes a matter of days and we are on hand with aftercare.
