An oak porch adds shelter and character to the entrance of a property. Built from structural oak posts and beams, these porches provide protection from the weather while improving the appearance of the entrance.
Freench Oak has been widely used in traditional timber framing because of its durability and structural strength, making it well suited to entrance structures exposed to outdoor conditions.
At Garden Room Sanctuary, we create and install oak porches that complement the style and proportions of your property. Each porch is carefully planned to integrate with the existing building while creating a practical covered entrance.
Oak-framed structures combine strength, durability and natural character, making them a reliable choice for outdoor buildings such as gazebos, pergolas and porches.
The open roof design provides partial shade while keeping the space light and airy.
Pergolas add structure and definition to patios and landscaped gardens.

The primary frame is assembled using structural oak posts, cross beams and braces. These components are joined together using traditional timber framing methods to form a strong load-bearing structure.
The oak frame is installed on site, with posts positioned and secured before beams and braces are installed. The structure is aligned, fixed and checked to ensure it is level, stable and structurally sound. The whole process usually only takes a matter of days and we are on hand with aftercare.
