An oak pergola is a structural garden feature made from upright posts supporting cross beams that create an open roof grid.
Pergolas provide partial shade while maintaining an open feel, making them ideal for patios, terraces and garden seating areas. Because the roof structure is open rather than solid, pergolas allow light and airflow while still defining an outdoor living space.
We design and install oak pergolas that are built to suit your garden layout and outdoor areas. Whether installed above a patio or along a walkway, an oak pergola creates a strong architectural feature that enhances the surrounding landscape.
Oak-framed structures combine strength, durability and natural character, making them a reliable choice for outdoor buildings such as gazebos, pergolas and porches.
Oak is a strong hardwood that performs well outdoors and can last for decades when properly constructed.
The open roof design provides partial shade while keeping the space light and airy.
Pergolas add structure and definition to patios and landscaped gardens.
An oak structure can enhance the appearance of both traditional and modern properties while remaining timeless.

The primary frame is assembled using structural oak posts, cross beams and braces. These components are joined together using traditional timber framing methods to form a strong load-bearing structure.
The oak frame is installed on site, with posts positioned and secured before beams and braces are installed. The structure is aligned, fixed and checked to ensure it is level, stable and structurally sound. The whole process usually only takes a matter of days and we are on hand with aftercare.
